The plans
Snip is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription. The billed unit is a MINUTE of imported source video, not a clip: a two-hour source costs one hundred and twenty minutes whether it yields three clips or thirty.
Découverte — free, 60 minutes a month, watermarked clips, no clip editor.
Créateur — €15 a month, 150 minutes a month. Pro — €30 a month, 300 minutes a month. Studio — €60 a month, 900 minutes a month. These three remove the watermark and include the clip editor.
A yearly commitment applies a 30% discount to the monthly price. Prices are in euros, VAT not applicable (article 293 B of the French tax code).
Subscribing and paying
Payment is handled by Stripe. No card details pass through our servers or are stored there.
The subscription is charged in advance, on subscribing and then at each renewal. Invoices are available in the Billing tab of your account; they are read from Stripe when the page is displayed, which is what guarantees that a later credit note or adjustment shows up there.
Renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically at each due date, for the same duration.
You may cancel at any time from the Billing tab. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: access and minutes remain open until then, and no further payment is taken afterwards.
Minutes left unused at the end of a period do not carry over and are not refunded.
Right of withdrawal
A consumer normally has fourteen days to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance.
Because the service is supplied immediately and in full on subscribing — the first import can be started within the minute — you expressly request its immediate performance and waive your right of withdrawal, in accordance with article L. 221-28 of the French consumer code. That waiver is collected at the time of payment.
It only covers the part of the service already performed. If no minute has been consumed, write to [email protected]: a refund will be considered in good faith.
Price changes
Prices may change. An increase never applies to a period already paid for: it takes effect at the next renewal and is announced to you by e-mail at least thirty days in advance, during which you may cancel free of charge.
Failed payment
A declined payment suspends access to paid features once Stripe's retries are exhausted. The account and its projects are kept; access returns as soon as payment is settled.
Complaints and mediation
Any complaint should be addressed to [email protected].
Under articles L. 611-1 and following of the French consumer code, a consumer may refer a dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to settling it amicably. The European online dispute resolution platform is also available online.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the protective provisions of the country of residence of a consumer in the European Union.
