- You want to schedule posts: 1 social account on free, 6 on Creator, 20 on Business. Snip publishes nowhere.
- You need translated subtitles: advertised on the Creator tier. Snip transcribes and captions but does not translate.
- You want output above 1080p: Vizard advertises 4K on its paid tiers, Snip stops at 1080p vertical.
- You work as a team: shared workspace, brand kit, custom fonts and API access on their Business tier, where Snip has neither a shared workspace nor an API.
- You want cloud storage: 100 GB advertised on Creator, unlimited on Business.
When Snip is the better choice
On the free tier the difference is concrete; on paid tiers it is about framing.
- You want a long clip without paying: Vizard's free tier caps exports at 10 minutes, Snip's does not cap clip length.

What the pricing actually changes
Both meters count uploaded minutes, and the free tiers sit at the same level: 60 minutes a month, no card, watermarked. The free-tier difference is in three ceilings Vizard applies and Snip does not: 720p instead of 1080p, a 10 minute export cap, and files deleted after 3 days. In exchange, Vizard opens its full editor on the free tier, while Snip keeps its clip editor for paid plans.
Above that, the comparison stops where honesty starts: the Creator and Business prices did not render on their pricing page on 9 August 2026, only an annual discount label. We are not going to invent them. What is comparable is volume: Vizard advertises 600 credits a month from the Creator tier, so 600 minutes of video, while Snip publishes 150 minutes at 15 EUR, 300 at 30 EUR and 900 at 60 EUR a month.
